The 5th National Young Entrepreneurs Summit opened in Southwest China's Chongqing municipality on June 5, with the theme of "riding the tide of the times for a prosperous future". 

Gao Yunlong, vice-chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and chairman of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce (ACFIC), addressed the meeting. 

Gao expressed his hope that young entrepreneurs will bear in mind the country’s most fundamental interests, love the country, work hard, carry forward the spirit of innovation and creation, shoulder their social responsibilities and pursue common prosperity, so as to make due contributions to building China into a great modern socialist country in all aspects and advancing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.  

He also urged the new Young Entrepreneurs Committee of the ACFIC to continue to serve young entrepreneurs, play an active role in promoting communications and exchanges, building platforms and boosting development, and carry out bold practices in innovating operational mechanisms and improving working methods, in a bid to build the committee into a vibrant organization that is eager to innovate and develop. 

Yuan Jiajun, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and secretary of the CPC Chongqing Municipal Committee, met with the meeting participants. 

The summit was co-sponsored by the ACFIC, the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League of China, and the Chongqing Municipal People's Government. Chongqing Mayor Hu Henghua attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech.
