On May 22, He Baoxiang, vice-chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and executive vice-chairman of the Central Committee of the Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang (RCCK), led a survey team to Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province, to conduct research on building socialist participating political parties with Chinese characteristics.

During the research, the team visited the Dr. Sun Yat-sen Fraternity House of the RCCK Wuxi Municipal Committee to learn about its operation, management and activities.

After listening to a report on the main work of the Jiangsu Provincial Committee of the RCCK, He said that it was of great significance to strengthen the construction of participating political parties in the new era and on the new journey, and to consciously be a good counselor, a good helper and a good colleague of the Communist Party of China.

He urged the RCCK members to work hard to offer sound advice and suggestions and pool their wisdom and strength to build China into a strong country and advance the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. He emphasized the need to further promote all RCCK work in an institutionalized, standardized, procedure-based and scientific manner, to strengthen the construction of a talent team, and to improve the RCCK's ability to perform its duties.

He also attended the award presenting ceremony of the 8th Cross-Strait Design Competition ·Huachan Award in Kunshan city on May 23.
