Shen Yueyue, vice-chairperson of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and president of the All-China Women's Federation (ACWF), met with the visiting delegation of Hong Kong Federation of Women (HKFW) in Beijing on May 22.

Shen praised the Hong Kong federation for uniting women from all walks of life in the region to resolutely implement the "one country, two systems" policy, and its positive contributions to promoting Hong Kong's long-term prosperity and stability over the past 30 years.

Shen stressed that the report to the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) has drawn a grand blueprint for promoting the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation through the Chinese modernization, and has provided fundamental guidance for the sustained success of the "one country, two systems" undertaking.

She encouraged her sisters from the Hong Kong federation to devote themselves to the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, actively integrate into the overall national development, play their unique role in guiding the healthy growth of teenagers, and make new contributions to the prosperity and stability of Hong Kong, as well as to national rejuvenation.
