The Central Committee of the Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang (RCCK) conducted a three-day survey in Central China's Hunan province from April 25 to 27, to learn about the province's efforts and progress in accelerating the high-quality development of the rail transit industry.

He Baoxiang, vice-chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) National Committee and executive vice-chairman of the RCCK Central Committee, headed the research team.

The team visited a number of enterprises, including Changsha Metro Group Co Ltd, CRRC Zhuzhou Locomotive Co Ltd, CRRC Zhuzhou Institute Co Ltd and Hunan Shenyi Precision Parts Co Ltd, to study the current situation of urban rail transit operation services and achievements in technological innovation.

The team also held a seminar to learn about the relevant work of local government departments, experts and entrepreneurs, and hear their opinions and suggestions on solving problems facing the rail transit sector. 

The team affirmed Hunan's efforts in building an important and advanced national manufacturing highland, in establishing an innovative development system for the rail transit industry, and in accelerating the construction of a demonstration zone to support the development of a strong transportation industry in China.

The team members noted that rail transit is a leading, fundamental, and strategic industry of the national economy, as well as an important support for high-quality development. It is necessary to deeply understand the significance of accelerating the high-quality development of the rail transit industry.

The research team also called for efforts to strengthen top-level design and upgrade institutional mechanisms for the rail transit industry, adhere to independent innovation, enhance industrial and supply chains and continue to promote the internationalized development of the country's rail transit industry.
