The China Soong Ching Ling Foundation (CSCLF) held the third executive committee meeting of its eighth board of directors on Jan 12. The meeting participants studied the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress. Li Bin, vice-chairperson of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and president of the CSCLF, chaired the meeting and delivered a speech.

Li said that over the past year, the CSCLF has coordinated work online and offline at home and abroad, strengthened existing work fields, and expanded new work fields. The CSCLF exercises full and strict governance of the Party, promoted civil diplomacy through cultural communication, enhanced communication with Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, fostered teenagers' virtue through education, and promoted charity work through poverty alleviation and rural vitalization. The CSCLF has had a positive influence with its new achievements both at home and abroad.

Li said that studying and implementing the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress is the CSCLF's main political task now. It should make the most of its advantages and achieve high-quality development in the new era. The CSCLF sticks to Soong Ching Ling's belief of "stay with the CPC forever" and her goal of "rejuvenate the Chinese nation", to which it works hard to make more contributions.
