A delegation of personages without party affiliation, one of the participating groups of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), visited Central China's Hunan province from Nov 8 to 11.

The team led by Ma Biao, vice-chairman of the CPPCC National Committee, focused on studying the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and promoting the innovative development of fine traditional Chinese culture during an inspection of the province's best practices.

The delegation visited Yueyang, Yiyang and Zhangjiajie cities, and Xiangxi Tujia and Miao autonomous prefecture. The members recognized progress in cultural undertakings in the past 10 years and called for more efforts to meet people's ever-growing intellectual and cultural needs.
