BEIJING — The National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) held a video conference on Friday to discuss advancing the construction of the Yellow River national cultural park.

Wang Yang, chairman of the CPPCC National Committee, presided over the meeting and delivered a speech.

Noting the great significance of the Yellow River national cultural park in boosting cultural confidence, Wang urged efforts to make the park a showcase for the Chinese civilization in a bid to pool inner strength for building China into a modern socialist country in all respects and advancing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation on all fronts.

CPPCC members and invited representatives called for efforts to iron out the kinks in the endeavor, including inadequate systematic protection of cultural resources, insufficient research and interpretation, and homogeneity of related projects.
