The Central Committee of the Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang (RCCK) held an investment promotion conference with the theme of making concerted efforts to enhance innovation and start new businesses in Changsha, Central China's Hunan province, on Nov 8, to assist in the modernization of the province.

Zheng Jianbang, vice-chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and executive vice-chairman of the RCCK Central Committee, said that the event was also a practice of the RCCK to improve the effectiveness of China's new political party system.

He stressed that the RCCK will thoroughly implement the strategic arrangements set at the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, and strive to be a good adviser, good supporter, and a good colleague of the CPC.

Zheng said that he hopes participating entrepreneurs could gain a better understanding of Hunan through the activity and will make efforts to ensure investment deals clinched at the promotion fair are well docked, and that they will build a cooperative partnership featuring win-win outcomes.

He added that relevant departments from Hunan were expected to make good use of the conference to upgrade local business environment and attract more enterprises to invest in Hunan.

Officials of the RCCK and the Hunan provincial government said that the investment promotion conference was held to implement the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress, and to boost the development of a modernized new Hunan through further publicity and investment promotion. It was also an action taken by the RCCK Central Committee to demonstrate the advantages and effectiveness of China's political party system.
