The Standing Committee of the 10th Central Committee of the Taiwan Democratic Self-Government League (TDSL) held its 20th meeting in Beijing on Nov 3.

Su Hui, chairwoman of the TDSL Central Committee, said the primary political task for the TDSL at present and for some time to come is to study, publicize and implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC).

Su, also vice-chairwoman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) National Committee, said that the TDSL marks its 75th founding anniversary this year and will hold its 11th national congress to further uphold the leadership of the CPC.

She also called for more efforts to build consensus and contribute to the Chinese path to modernization and integrated cross-Straits development.
