The 12th Standing Committee of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce (ACFIC) held its 10th session online and offline on Sept 28, to review personnel matters.

During the meeting, Gao Yunlong, vice-chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and chairman of the ACFIC, called for efforts to help maintain a stable and healthy economic environment, a stable social environment, and a clean political environment for the upcoming 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC).

The meeting stressed the importance of shouldering political responsibility, ensuring the ideological work of the private sector, and publicizing the historical achievements made in the new era.

Yang Youxing was elected as a new vice-chairman of the ACFIC during the meeting.

Xu Lejiang, deputy head of the United Front Work Department of the CPC Central Committee and executive vice-chairman of the ACFIC, also attended and addressed the meeting.
