The fifth Moganshan Conference was jointly held by the Central Committee of the Revolutionary Committee of Chinese Kuomintang (RCCK) and the Zhejiang Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), under the theme of implementing rural vitalization and achieving common prosperity, in Deqing, a county of Huzhou in East China's Zhejiang province, from Sept 6 to 7.

In his speech at the conference, Zheng Jianbang, vice-chairman of the CPPCC National Committee and executive vice-chairman of the RCCK Central Committee, said that it has become a major platform for the RCCK to showcase the country's achievements in rural vitalization and give full play to its political party system.

Zheng stressed that Deqing, Huzhou and the whole province have made large strides in the implementation of the rural vitalization strategy and the building of a new rural environment characterized by high-quality and efficient agriculture, a pleasant living and business environment, and prosperous farmers.

Zheng noted that the RCCK will further push for rural vitalization to fulfill its responsibility and mission.

He also called for more efforts to consolidate the theoretical foundation for rural vitalization and common prosperity, grasp the internal rules behind the connection between rural vitalization and common prosperity, boost the income of rural residents, beef up material support for the realization of rural vitalization and common prosperity, pursue green and low-carbon development, enrich the spiritual life of rural residents, and deepen institutional reform to boost rural vitalization and common prosperity.
