The All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce (ACFIC) held the China Top 500 Private Enterprises Summit 2022 in Beijing on Sept 7, under the theme of "seizing new opportunities and creating a new future together."

When addressing the conference, Gao Yunlong, vice-chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), said that the annual summit has become an important platform for private enterprises to facilitate exchanges, boost confidence, and drive innovation.

He noted that changes on the list of China's top 500 private companies showed encouraging developments in industrial restructuring, quality-centered growth, and the fulfillment of corporate social responsibility.

At the meeting, which was held both online and onsite, Gao, also chairman of the ACFIC, called for private enterprises to have confidence in the country's capacity and determination in coordinating pandemic prevention and control with economic and social development under the leadership of the Communist Party of China.

Stressing that China's economy has great resilience, huge potential and is full of vitality, Gao urged private enterprises to pursue stable development and actively partake in national development strategies.
