A team from the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) National Committee took a visit to East China's Jiangxi province, from June 26 to 29, to survey the province's efforts to maintain stable foreign investment and trade.
The team, led by Lou Jiwei, chairman of the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the CPPCC National Committee, held symposiums in the cities of Nanchang and Ganzhou, visited local enterprises and project sites, and exchanged ideas with company managers and frontline workers.
Recognizing the province's progress in implementing a series of measures for the stable growth of foreign trade and investment, the team highlighted the increasingly complex internal and external challenges faced by China and urged the province to coordinate COVID-19 prevention and control measures with economic and social development.
According to the team, it's important to strengthen regional coordination, ensure the stability of industrial and supply chains for foreign trade, and constantly enhance efforts to attract foreign investment.
