Xia Baolong, vice-chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) National Committee and president of the Chinese side of the China-Russia Friendship Committee for Peace and Development (CRFCPD), attended a reception to celebrate the Day of Russia at the Embassy of Russia in China on June 10.

Xia said China is willing to work with Russia to adhere to the original aspiration of time-honored friendship between the two countries, implement the consensus reached by the two heads of state, enhance political mutual trust, and strengthen all-around cooperation.
