Zheng Jianbang, vice-chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), outlined the priorities of paired assistance for rural vitalization in Nayong county of Guizhou province spearheaded by the Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang (RCCK) at a meeting on Feb 24.

Zheng, also executive vice-chairman of the RCCK Central Committee, said the RCCK forged ahead to consolidate and expand poverty alleviation achievements against the negative impact of COVID-19 in 2021.

In 2022, the RCCK will keep its assistance measures stable and further contribute to the county's economic and social development, according to Zheng.

He urged efforts to develop the paired assistance project in Nayong into a role model of rural vitalization, a nationwide campaign, promote industries with the county's local characteristics, and also enhance training of cadres and talents to build their capacity for basic public service.

At the meeting, the province's Deputy Governor Wang Shijie, together with other leaders, introduced progress and plans for rural vitalization and also highly recognized the assistance of the RCCK to the inland county.
