The Central Committee of the China Democratic League (CDL) has selected 45 proposals from more than 300 entries made or recommended by the special committees of the CDL Central Committee and the CDL's provincial-level organizations.

The proposals were chosen for their quality and in line with the spirit and guidelines of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, the Central Economic Work Conference and the 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-25). They will be submitted to the fifth session of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) starting from March 4 in Beijing.

The 45 proposals cover seven fields, including education, science, technology and culture, economic development, resources, ecology and environment, social governance, finance and taxation, agriculture and rural areas, and healthcare.

Some proposals on education focus on the employment of graduates, development of basic academic disciplines, reform of education supervision, technology transfer market, and the training of innovative talents in the integrated circuits industry. Topics of the proposals also include development of digital trade, prevention and control of pollution from waste electrical and electronic equipment, improving social assistance system, management of online rumors, more tax reform for common prosperity, and systematic support to child policy.
