Gao Yunlong, vice-chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) National Committee, attended a launch event for an exhibition and seminars on entrepreneurial and employment services held in Changchun, capital of Northeast China's Jilin province, on Oct 14. 

Gao, also chairman of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce (ACFIC), announced the beginning of the activities, which is part of this year's week-long national mass entrepreneurship and innovation promotion campaign. 

As a platform to display achievements, communicate ideas and exchange resources, the activities consist of a thematic exhibition and four seminars aimed at promoting entrepreneurship in cities and employment service brands. 

A total of 92 cities and 146 employment service brands will showcase their achievements, while the seminars will promote communication between cities, employment service providers, employment experts and national exemplary start-up incubation bases. 

The launch event was jointly held by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and the People's Government of Jilin Province.
