Zheng Jianbang, vice-chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), led a team of guests who attended the commemoration of the 110th anniversary of the 1911 Revolution to visit the cities of Guangzhou and Zhongshan in South China's Guangdong province.
The team paid visits to historical landmarks related to the revolution, including the Sun Yat-sen's Memorial Hall in Guangzhou, the Huanghuagang 72 Martyrs' Cemetery, and the Museum of Former Residence of Sun Yat-sen, in honor of the forerunners of China's democratic revolution.
Zheng said members of the team have all personally experienced, participated in or witnessed the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation and they are expected to carry forward the spirit of the 1911 Revolution and share the country's magnificent changes with the international community.
