BEIJING -- Members of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) on Friday discussed measures to promote the quality and efficiency of sewage treatment in urban areas at a consultation session in Beijing.

The biweekly session was held by the CPPCC National Committee. Wang Yang, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and chairman of the CPPCC National Committee, presided over the session.
