Wan Gang, vice-chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) National Committee and president of the 9th National Committee of the China Association for Science and Technology (CAST), was re-elected as president of the 10th CAST National Committee at the conclusion of the 10th CAST National Congress on May 30. 

Academician Chen Wei, a research fellow of the Institute of Military Medicine under the Academy of Military Sciences, Academician Huang Luqi, president of the China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, and 16 other people were elected as vice-presidents of the 10th CAST National Committee.
