Wang Yongqing, vice-chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) National Committee, attended a reception celebrating the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the Republic of Suriname on May 26 in Beijing. 

Before the reception, Wang held a ritual meeting with Patty Chen, Surinamese Ambassador to China.
