The 13th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) held its 16th standing committee session on the morning of March 10 in Beijing.
Wang Yang, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and chairman of the CPPCC National Committee, presided over the session.
The meeting adopted a draft resolution of the fourth session of the 13th CPPCC National Committee on the work report of the Standing Committee of the CPPCC National Committee, a draft resolution on the report on how the proposals from CPPCC National Committee members have been handled since the previous annual session, a draft report of the Committee on Proposals of the 13th CPPCC National Committee on the review of the proposals submitted to the fourth session of the 13th CPPCC National Committee, and a draft political resolution of the fourth session of 13th CPPCC National Committee. The meeting decided to submit the documents to the closing meeting of the fourth session of the 13th CPPCC National Committee for deliberation.
