The third All-China Young Entrepreneur Summit is held in Fuzhou, capital of East China’s Fujian province, on Sept 25.

Gao Yunlong, vice-chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and chairman of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce (ACFIC), made a speech at the opening ceremony.

In his speech, Gao said that private enterprises are facing unprecedented risks and challenges and the young generation is confronted with a lot of pressure due to the COVID-19 epidemic and the trade tensions between the US and China.

Gao pointed out that patriotism is the most significant characteristic of Chinese entrepreneurship, and that innovation and creation are its most fundamental and essential parts. He added that that modern management is a solid guarantee for the stability and long-term development of Chinese private enterprises, and caring about mankind is the highest moral pursuit of Chinese private entrepreneurs.

Young entrepreneurs should be dream chasers with a higher patriotic stance and firm beliefs, and should strive to succeed with more skills and to be practitioners of modern management with stricter standards and philanthropists caring for the public and explorers with broader vision and global perspective, Gao suggested.

Three parallel forums were held featuring the digital economy, new energy and trade development against the background of a new development pattern featuring dual circulation, or a dual-cycle development architecture with the domestic cycle as the mainstay and domestic and international development reinforcing each other. 

Before the opening, the attendees surveyed Fuyao Glass Group and Donghu Digital Town in Fuzhou.
