Li Huisen, a member of the CPPCC National Committee, said it is equally important to step up publicity and education about TCM culture among adults, especially young people.
Li, who is LKK Health Products Group chairman, has proposed public health authorities at the grass-roots level improve awareness and acceptance of TCM among adults, make full use of mobile technology and social media platforms, and package TCM knowledge in trendy forms such as cartoons and videos.
